The Certificate in Integrated Marketing Strategy is under going a redesign in 2012. Individual courses of this program will be offered ongoing throughout the winter and spring terms but only as open enrolment courses or towards other program completiongs such as the UBC Award of Achievement in Web Analytics, the UBC/UCI Certificate in Web Intelligence or the Sauder School of Business Marketing Management Certificate.
Marketing strategy is more important than ever in our highly competitive world, and is becoming more complex as the Internet merges with traditional media. From brand management to customer communications to sales, today's marketing must integrate multiple media and environments to achieve maximum impact. Print, radio, TV and the Web are becoming one integrated, customer-facing whole.
The UBC Certificate in Integrated Marketing Strategy stands at the forefront of innovation and creative thinking about new ways that goods and services are marketed. The ubiquity, desirability and economic viability of web-based communications tied to traditional media results in market reach being broader and deeper while simultaneously being more fragmented and customized. The face-to-face courses of the program are located downtown Vancouver, at UBC Robson Square.
