Program Details

The UBC Certificate in Program Management is delivered comprehensively in five 100% online courses in a part-time format. In order to receive the certificate, participants are expected to complete all five required courses within a two year period, starting with Program Management Governance.
Before applying to this program you must read and understand the terms and conditions in the Program Handbook. Applications to the program are accepted on an ongoing basis. Courses are scheduled throughout the year, and participants register for each course individually.

Program Fees

There is a $175 non-refundable administration fee which is due upon acceptance into the program. Course fees are paid on a course-by-course basis and total $6,150 for all five certificate courses. There is no fee to apply to the program.

Format

Each certificate course is

• delivered online over approximately four to eight weeks
• involves an average of six to ten hours of study per week
• includes reading case studies and white papers, as well as completing online reading, online discussions, assignments/projects and independent study

Assessment Methods

The curriculum encompasses a significant amount of reading, including books, case studies and white papers, in conjunction with online learning activities such as lectures, group discussions and research. Participants are assessed on assignments and projects.
