Program Overview

Launch your entry into a career involving technical support, office administration and programming and web development and gain the confidence to pursue some of today’s most recognized industry certifications, including:

  • CompTIA A+ IT Technician
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP: Server Administrator)
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)

The Technology Support Professional (TSP) program is a 10-month, full-time intensive program designed to prepare individuals interested in pursuing entry-level technical support position in the information technology industry. The program is designed for those who do not have a background in information technology as well as those looking to re-train or upgrade their present skills.

The program combines the technical, customer service and professional skills needed to excel in the technical support field and focuses on help desk/call centre support, network administration and troubleshooting across multiple platforms with hands-on learning to supplement formal classroom instruction.

Demand for IT professionals in Canada remains steady with unemployment under the Canadian national average. There is a need for IT personnel, including help desk analysts and managers, systems administrators and technical trainers, skilled in supporting and training customers.

Graduates of the TSP program are capable of holding positions in a variety of entry-level positions ranging from technical support to junior network administrators in small to medium-sized organizations.

  • Technical Specialist
  • Desktop Support Technician
  • Help Desk Analyst
  • Application Support Specialist
  • Network Support Analyst
  • Jr. Systems Analyst
  • Jr. Network Administrator

Admission
